Old Creek Ranch is a master planned community in San Marcos, California. This neighborhood has some of the newest real estate in the city.
Old Creek Ranch has a mixture of multi-family homes and single-family homes that were built on 416 acres. It was created in 2006 and has townhome neighborhoods like Magnolia at Old Creek Ranch, Calico Bluffs, Larkspur Heights, and Laurel at Old Creek Ranch. Mahogany at Old Creek Ranch offers one and two story detached homes with two to four bedrooms. They have a range of 1,197 to 3,000 square feet in living space. Most homes have a two-car garage. You’ll find a lot of Tuscan and Mission architectural styles in this neighborhood. Depending on the subdivision, amenities may include swimming pools, fitness centers, spas, and barbecue areas.
This community is served by the San Marcos Unified School District which is one of San Diego County’s largest. Students may attend highly ranked facilities like Carillo Elementary School, San Elijo Middle School, and San Marcos High School. There are several charter and private schools like the High Tech facilities, Saint Joseph Academy, and Valley Christian School. Palomar College is situated in the northern area of the city and has around 30,000 students. It offers over 250 certificate programs and associate degrees.
Old Creek Ranch is near San Elijo Hills and Carlsbad where residents visit for dining, shopping, and entertainment as well as the beaches. There are many trails and parks in this region including the San Elijo Hills Park and the Double Peak Park which features trails and views from the summit.
San Marcos is located in San Diego County’s north region. It is bordered by Carlsbad, Vista, Encinitas, and Escondido. This city is known for some of the best restaurants around in the San Diego county area.
